NEW Oil Painting

Here is a photo of my 16x20 still life oil painting that was completed just yesterday.  It is of two cherry tomatoes with some lettuce in a metal strainer.  If you have any suggestions for a title for this piece, feel free to leave a comment :)

New Oil Painting!

After quite a long time without any new completed oil paintings, this 9x12 still life was finished last week.  It is titled Ready or Not and was painted alla prima (wet into wet) using my post impressionistic style and impasto technique.  This composition was painted from life in my studio.  Ready or Not 9x12 Oil on canvas by Laura Holzschuh.

Here are a couple photos of my latest still life oil painting. I worked on finishing the background first. It's about half done in the first picture and finished in the second.
